Age Groups Offered at NCFC
NCFC caters for social and competitive players
Ages: example- if a player is turning 8 in 2021, the player will be in the U8 Age Group.
Tiny Tots (10 Session Program)
- Ages 3 to 5 years
- Mixed squad - boys and girls
- Several programs held per year
- Held on a Friday afternoon at our home grounds in Bridgeman Downs
U6 to U8 Age Groups (Small Sided Games)
- Mixed teams - boys and girls
- Up to 9 players per team
- 6 players on the field including a goal keeper (6 X 6)
- Games have modified rules
- Coaches assist with development of players by being on the field during the game
- Games are played on a smaller field (about 45m x 25m) with smaller goals (L: 3m x H: 1.5m) approx.
- Training - Held on a week day afternoon (Day & Time subject to the Coach's availability)
- Games - North Brisbane based competition played on Saturdays
U9 & U10 Age Groups (Small Sided Games)
- Mixed teams - boys and girls
- Up to 12 players per team
- 9 players on the field including a goal keeper (9 X 9)
- Games have modified rules
- Games are played on 1/2 of full size fields (about 68m x 45m) with smaller goals (L: 5m x H: 2m)
- Training - Held on a week day afternoon (Day & Time subject to the Coach's availability)
- Games - North Brisbane based competition played on Saturdays
U11 to U14 Age Groups
- Mixed teams - boys and girls
- Up to 15 players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)
- Games are played on full size fields
- Training - Held on a week day afternoon or early evening (Day & Time subject to the Coach's availability)
- Games - U11 to U14 - Greater Brisbane (Cross River) based competition played on Saturdays
U12/13 Girls Team
- Play against mixed teams - boys and girls
- Up to 15 players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)
- Training - Held on a week day afternoon or early evening (Day & Time subject to the Coach's availability)
- Games - Greater Brisbane (Cross River) based competition played on Saturdays
U15/16 Age Group
- Boys or Girls teams
- Up to 20 players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)
- Training - Held on a week day afternoon or early evening (Day & Time subject to the Coach's availability)
- Games - Greater Brisbane (Cross River) based competition played on Saturdays
Women (Open Age - Competitive Teams) (QCSA)
- Up to 25 players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)
- Training - Held on a week day early evening (Day & Time subject to the team's availability)
- Games - Greater Brisbane (Cross River) based competition played on Saturday afternoons or nights
Women (Open Age - Social Teams) (BFQ)
- Unlimited players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)
- Training - Held on a week day early evening (Day & Time subject to the team's availability)
- Games - North Brisbane based competition played on Saturday afternoons
Men (Open Age) (BFQ)
- Unlimited players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)
- Training - Held on a week day early evening (Day & Time subject to the team's availability)
- Games - North Brisbane based competition played on Saturday afternoons
Men (Over 35's) - (Over 35's Football)
- Unlimited players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)
- Training - Held on a week day early evening (Day & Time subject to the team's availability)
- Games - North Brisbane based competition played on Friday nights
Men (Over 45's) - (Over 35's Football)
- Unlimited players per team
- 11 players on the field including a goal keeper (11 X 11)

- Queensland Christian Soccer Association Inc. (QCSA) District and State teams (for U10's to Women)
- BFQ Incorporated (BFQ) State teams (for Men)

Every effort will be taken to place players in teams based on their age, ability and experience (Note: We also try to keep friends together, where possible)

Every effort will be taken to place teams into Divisions based on their ability and experience

In the case where we have enough players in an age group to form 2 or more teams in a Division, the club may decide to match the teams as evenly as possible

We encourage our coaches and managers to give fair and equal playing time to all players in a team over the course of the season.
